Tekla Structures does not currently provide a feature similar to AutoCAD's OOPS command, which restores accidentally deleted objects. Although Undo can recover recent actions, it is not always practical once additional modeling operations have been performed or the undo history is no longer available.
I propose an OOPS Macro for Tekla Structures that restores the most recently deleted model objects with a single command while preserving their original properties and positions.
Suggested Features
Restore the most recently deleted objects with one click.
Support Beams, Plates, Bolts, Welds, Components, Rebars, and other Tekla model objects.
Restore objects to their original location, orientation, and properties.
Restore objects from multiple previous deletion operations.
Filter by object type (Parts, Bolts, Welds, Components, etc.).
Keyboard shortcut support for quick access.
Operate independently of the standard Undo history whenever technically possible.
Benefits
An OOPS Macro would help users quickly recover accidentally deleted objects without interrupting their workflow. It would reduce rework, prevent unnecessary data loss, and improve productivity in Tekla Structures, especially for large steel detailing and BIM projects where accidental deletions can be costly and time-consuming.
