This tool was created to use auto save the ETABS model when you are working on this within specific time intervals to do not loser updates if your model crashed.
The ETABS Auto Saver is a desktop utility designed to automatically save your ETABS model at regular intervals. This tool helps prevent data loss in case of unexpected crashes or power outages by ensuring that your work is consistently saved without manual intervention.
ETABS Auto Saver is a lightweight automation utility designed to automatically create safe
backup copies of active ETABS models at user-defined intervals.
The tool addresses a common engineering risk:
Loss of modeling progress due to crashes, analysis interruptions, or unintended
overwrites.
Instead of modifying the original ETABS model, the Auto Saver works by:
• Detecting the active ETABS instance
• Identifying the currently opened model
• Creating timestamped backup copies in a user-defined folder
The original model file remains untouched and locked throughout the process
