AZ Divide is a comprehensive utility tool designed to facilitate the division of structural elements within Tekla Structures. Whether you need to segment continuous beams due to shipping restrictions or section columns for manufacturing purposes, AZ Divide offers the precision and speed you need.

Key Features

• Three Basic Division Modes:

• By Length: Divide members at exact intervals you specify (e.g. every 12,000 mm or every 40'-0" length).
• EQ (Equal Parts): Automatically divide the elements into equal parts, not exceeding the maximum length you specify.
• Split at Center: Quickly split the elements in half right in the middle.

• Split with Gap:

Between the newly created parts. It adds a precise opening that is automatically determined for needs such as a weld gap or expansion joint.

• Show / Select Only:

Thanks to the built-in isolation tools, you can quickly view and verify elements that meet your length criteria before dividing.

• Smart Formatting:

Both Metric (mm) and Imperial System (up to ft-in, 1/16" precision) is fully supported. You can instantly switch between unit modes.

• Orientation Awareness:

You can configure reference points to ensure cuts start from the exact point you want:

• For vertical elements: Top / Bottom
• For horizontal elements: Left / Right
