NWD-Copier: A File Management Tool for Transferring .nwd Files

The NWD-Copier application is designed to efficiently manage and transfer .nwd files between source and target directories. It provides the following key functionalities:

Version Comparison:

The application automatically compares the versions of the .nwd files in both the source and target folders. If a file in the source folder is newer than its counterpart in the target folder, it will be copied over to ensure the target folder contains the latest version.

File Replacement Options:

After copying a newer file to the target folder, users have the option to delete the older version from the target folder, ensuring the folder remains streamlined and up-to-date.

File Selection and Visibility:

The application provides clear, organized lists of .nwd files found in both the source and target directories. This makes it easy for users to see which files are available for copying and select specific files to transfer.

User-Friendly Interface:

With its intuitive interface, the application allows users to effortlessly select and manage files for transfer. It provides an easy way to handle multiple files at once, streamlining the entire process.

Installation Steps:

1-Download the Application:

Download the NWD-Copier executable (.exe) file via the provided link.

2-Run the Application:

Once the download is complete, simply double-click the NWD-Copier.exe file to launch the application. There is no installation process—just open the executable to start using the tool.

3-Windows Trust Warning:

If you encounter a Windows security warning stating that the file is from an untrusted source, click on "More Info" and then select "Run Anyway" to allow the application to run.

Usage Instructions:

Select the Source Folder:

After launching the application, click on the "Browse" button next to the Source Folder field. Navigate to and select the folder containing the .nwd files you want to copy.

Select the Target Folder:

Next, click the "Browse" button next to the Target Folder field. Choose the folder where you want the newer .nwd files to be copied.

Run the Process:

Once both the source and target folders are selected, click the "Run" button to start the process. The application will compare the versions of the .nwd files in both folders, copying over the newer files to the target folder.

Optional File Deletion:

After the transfer, you can choose to delete the older versions from the target folder. This step helps keep your target directory up-to-date and organized.
